"I had no problem going 90 miles one way for this bike. All the other dealers in north jersey I checked either did not have the bike I was looking for or anything like it. I was told flat out that they really don't keep bikes like the xt250 in stock since they are not big sellers. It was for my wife and she is only 5'2 so just ordering is not an option. Stumpy's had it, Pat gave me the price over the phone. Went down checked it out, could have been in and out in one hour but spent to much time talking with Pat and the service guys like we knew each other for years. This was the second bike in as many years that was not a 100% thing when I got there and left with it. "

"A dealer to depend on. In 20 years of enjoying and racing motorcyles stumpys has always been a dealer that i would visit last. Not that they had a bad reputation or anything i was just accustomed to the dealers and mail order catalogs i perceived were great. However since an incident with another mail order engine job and more missed weekends riding my bike because of dealers not stocking parts. The smiling guy i have seen for years at the racetrack and community events told me to bring my problem in to the shop. A few weeks later is how I have discovered the real reason why this dealership has been so successful. First off they ACTUALLY have parts in stock for their motorcycles!!!Secondly, the personalities and people are not pushing things on you when you enter the store. They support the local racers and kids at the entry level. They donate to the local racetracks and to top all these good qualities off, they build a heck of a reliable Motor at a fair price! Thank you John, Bruce, Carmen, Steve and whomever else i may have not met that has made doing business with your dealership so enjoyable. One final note: Don't forget to stop in frequently and check the clearence table they have been setting up recently!!! See you at the races."

"My bike was running terrible. I had previously had the bike in for an oil change last fall and mentioned the problem. The issue was dismissed as problems with the new blend gasoline. I drove it through the summer and it got worst. This time Steve Jr. said it was probably the new gas gumming up the carbs. Your mechanic (Greg?) looked at the bike and verified that the gasoline had caused gumming/varnish in the carbs. He performed the needed service. Steve had told me that after the repairs that the bike would run like new, even better than it had run after the carb & exhaust enhancements that Stumpys had installed two years ago. Well I would like to say that Steve was correct. I am pressed to remember when the bike ran so well. It runs super, great, fantastic, and is fun to drive again. I would like acknowledge Steve, for making sure that the repairs were correct, doing a road test and ensuring that my bike was returned to me in a ready to hit the road condition & very clean. I would also like to thank the mechanic who repaired my machine. I would like him to know how pleased I am with the service he performed. He did an outstanding job repairing and setup. Thanks again folks, I remain a loyal customer, Leroy Huelsenbeck"
